👻 Ghost Your Emails!

Except for ones from us, of course.

“Right to Disconnect” is here—and your boss might just hate it.

Some countries have officially declared war on after-hours emails—and honestly, it’s about time.

France—The OG Rebels

Since 2017, the French have legally ignored after-hours pings without risking their jobs. Picture this—boss emails at midnight? Très illégal.

Portugal—Zero Tolerance Zone

In 2021, Portugal levelled up. Employers can now get fined for messaging employees outside work hours unless the office is literally on fire. Otherwise? Keep your “quick asks” to yourself.

Australia—The New MVP

In August 2024, Australia joined the club with its “right to disconnect” law. Employees can legally ignore out-of-hours emails. Australia basically said, “Mate, leave people alone.”

The days of 24/7 availability are numbered. These laws don’t just protect inboxes—they protect sanity. Don’t you think it’s time India implemented something like this?

How could we? Leaders in this country say we have to work 70 hours a week 👀
