Where have you been?!

if you’ve missed the last three HR Playbooks... where have you been?!

Hey there,

Over the last three editions, The HR Playbook Series has become the place where HR leaders stop talking about “trends” and start rethinking the real mechanics of how work happens. They were the kind of conversations that leave you staring at your notes like: “Damn, that line just changed how I see work.”

Here’s me, still buzzing about them.

🤔⚡ Playbook 1.0: The Lightning Hour

Fast. Sharp. Brutal truths. People still DM us about how it felt like an HR TEDx on steroids. Honestly? Lightning Hour was chaos in the best way — and one of the most impactful hours I’ve ever sat through.

Click on Watch Replay to catch the Lightning Hour again — scroll through Schedule to explore this or any other session.

🌀 Playbook 2.0: It shook the room.

Whew, this one? It shook the room. HR loves a good playbook, but sometimes we forget that too many “best practices” = total chaos.

  • Vinay Trivedi dropped the mic with: “Too many options can be just as paralyzing as too few.” 👏

  • Parul Singh kept it real: “Culture is choices — not slogans, not posters, not policies.” 👏👏

  • And then Sahil Nayar went for the jugular (in the nicest way possible): “What if the best employer brands aren’t built in meetings, but in moments?” 👏👏👏

By the end, you could feel the collective HR brain short-circuiting — like, “Wait… are we doing this all wrong?”

🔥 Playbook 3.0: Let the Org Chart Burn

My personal favorite (don’t tell the others 🙈). This one wasn’t slides — it was straight-up honesty.

  • Sneha Arora: “Context IS your infrastructure in remote-first. Without it, decisions crawl.”

  • Leena Lopez: Silence in culture costs more than you think.” (chills, right?)

  • Sai Rama Surya Srinivas Chada: “Burnout happens when there’s no clarity and no safety. Priorities can change — vision shouldn’t.”

People were scribbling in notebooks like they were back in school. That’s when I knew: this isn’t just another HR webinar.

🚀 And Now… Playbook 4.0

September 24. Mark it, tattoo it, put it on your fridge. Whatever you do, don’t miss this one.

Because 4.0 is asking the stuff we’ve all been quietly stressing about:
🧭 Careers & Growth without ladders (how do you grow without titles?)
📊 People Analytics that actually drive decisions (no more dashboard museum tours)
🌍 Geo-fluid workforces (what happens when “the office” is literally everywhere?)

Oh, and it comes with:
Live convos with bold HR voices
Toolkits you’ll actually use
Networking that doesn’t feel like forced small talk
A certificate for your wall (and your LinkedIn flex)

The free newsletter making HR less lonely

The best HR advice comes from those in the trenches. That’s what this is: real-world HR insights delivered in a newsletter from Hebba Youssef, a Chief People Officer who’s been there. Practical, real strategies with a dash of humor. Because HR shouldn’t be thankless—and you shouldn’t be alone in it.

This isn’t a webinar. It’s not “another HR event.” It’s a working room. A playground for the tough questions, the sharp insights, and yeah — the occasional HR mic drop.

I’ll be there, notebook ready. You should too.

Until next time, HR heroes
